Meet Dr. Garrin Dotson
Dr. Garrin Dotson grew up in Hendersonville, Tennessee. After moving from West Virginia at a young age, he quickly fell in love with the quality of life and the warm, welcoming community here. That early sense of belonging never left him, and it shaped everything that came after.
After graduating from Hendersonville High School in 2008, Dr. Dotson attended West Virginia University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2012. He spent two years in Denver, Colorado working as a personal trainer, deepening his understanding of human movement and performance before deciding to take his passion for helping people even further. He went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic from 2016 to 2019, graduating with honors.
Building a Foundation in Patient Care
Dr. Dotson began his chiropractic career as an associate at Active Life Chiropractic, where he developed excellent clinical skills and a patient-first approach to care. From the beginning, he had a clear goal: to one day open his own practice in the hometown he loved. In June of 2021, that vision became reality when Mind and Spine Chiropractic opened its doors in our community.

Dr. Dotson has been caring for the people of Sumner County ever since, and he’s genuinely grateful to be living out his purpose every day. He believes the body has a remarkable ability to heal from the inside out, and that chiropractic care plays an essential role in maintaining long-term health and wellness. His goal is simple: help every patient live life at the highest quality possible.
Life Outside the Clinic
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Dotson loves spending time with his family, staying active, playing disc golf, and getting outside whenever he can.
